San Francisco Postcard Illustration

Animator Peter Kourkoumelis asked me to illustrate a postcard of San Francisco for him. He wanted to include iconic imagery i.e. the Golden Gate Bridge. I drew a collage of the the San Francisco city skyline, the the bridge and iconic victorian houses in Adobe illustrator, I then added the cable car and texture in Adobe Photoshop.

Final Postcard

Peter then added the cable car in front, and the stamp imagery. He used this postcard in the animation by zooming through the cable car window into the next frame of the Golden Gate Bridge and finally landing on the end frame Logo.
