Logo Design for Operations Channel

Part of my job at CNBC included internal logo design. The operations department encompasses a large number of CNBC employees. Throughout the building there are LCD screens where this “channel” is displayed.

Preliminary Designs

I started some preliminary logos that I presented to my Art Directer and the Senior Director of Strategic Projects.

Top 4 Designs

Here are the top 4 approved designs. As you can see some of the designs include a Peacock feather from the CNBC logo to show that the operations channel is internal.

Once the Logo was finalized I began to create a formatted psd template so the user could update the photography and text depending on the topic. I used the CNBC peacock colors and the Gotham typeface that CNBC currently uses in their network look.
